I can't believe it's been twelve months since I joined ProSpend. Honestly, where does the time go?
It's been a year I'm genuinely proud of. Events with MYOB, Pronto and Kynection, new partnerships taking shape, and relationships I know will go well beyond the professional. Some of you I'd already call friends. What has struck me most, though, is the trust. The fact that you bring us into conversations with your clients, that you stake your own reputation on us, means more than I can really put into words.
And what I've seen is that most of you aren't in this just to close a deal. You genuinely care about the outcome for your clients. You want to solve the right problem, not just sell a product. That kind of integrity is rare, and it reminds me a lot of what I loved about running my own business, that direct connection, the satisfaction of actually making a difference for someone.
So as we wrap up EOFY and head into a new year together, thank you. For your trust, your partnership and for making this first year one I'll look back on for a long time.
FEATURE HIGHLIGHT
ProSpend Purchase Orders and Purchasing Control
One of the most effective ways businesses can improve spend visibility is by introducing stronger purchasing controls before money is spent.
ProSpend's Purchase Order functionality helps organisations manage purchasing from request through to approval and payment, creating a clear audit trail at every step. Here are three key benefits:
Pre-Approval Workflows: Ensure purchases are reviewed and approved before commitments are made.
Real-Time Budget Visibility: Team budgets are visible throughout the purchasing process, helping prevent overspending.
Audit reporting: Every purchase request, approval, and payment is logged and traceable, giving finance teams a complete record they can rely on for internal reviews, compliance requirements, and year-end reporting.
PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
Kilimanjaro Consulting
Kilimanjaro Consulting is one of those relationships that remind you why you do this work. We've been partnering together for a long time now, and that history shows in the way we work together, the way we show up for each other's clients, and the genuine respect that runs both ways. Last month's webinar was a real highlight for me personally. The audience engagement and the quality of the conversation made it one to remember. A huge thank you to the Kilimanjaro team for making it such a success.

COMMUNITY NEWS
MYOB Discover Live | Pronto Live
What a way to wrap up the first half of the year! We attended the final MYOB Discover Live in Auckland and Pronto Live in Sydney, and what a couple of days they were. It was great to connect face-to-face with so many of you, put names to faces and have the kinds of conversations that don't happen over email.
PARTNER WEBINARS
Acacia | PencilPay
If you've been thinking about running a webinar with us, here's your sign.
Our recent webinar series has been delivering real results for partners, and I mean that in the most tangible way. Registrations are strong, conversations are converting, and the partners who have jumped in are seeing the impact directly in their pipeline.
Which is why I'm thrilled to share that we have three more lined up this July alone. Acacia kicks us off on the 14th, and PencilPay follows on the 28th. Two great partners, two great opportunities to put ProSpend in front of the right audiences.
The momentum is real, the calendar is filling up, and spots for the second half of the year are already being discussed.
If you'd like to get your own webinar on the schedule, reach out to me directly. I'd love to make it happen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The Hidden Cost of Subscription Sprawl
Recently, I sat down with my daughter to review all the subscriptions our family was paying for. Between the four of us, we discovered duplicate services, unused apps and ongoing costs that nobody was really tracking.
It made me think about how easily the same thing happens in businesses. As software subscriptions grow across teams, visibility can quickly disappear, leading to unnecessary costs and duplicate spending.
It's a simple reminder that whether at home or at work, understanding where your money is going is the first step towards taking control.
