## ORIGIN STORY

    ProSpend was founded by Sharon Nouh, who ran corporate travel agencies in
    Adelaide and Sydney and saw first-hand how manual and time-consuming it was
    for clients to reconcile travel and entertainment expenses — spreadsheets,
    paper receipts, back-and-forth emails, and no solution built for mid-sized
    Australian businesses.

    So she built one. In 2011, ProSpend launched as expensemanager — one of
    Australia's first expense automation platforms. Our very first customer,
    KFC, is still with us today.

    Over the past decade, that single-product platform grew into a complete
    spend management solution covering expenses, accounts payable, purchase
    orders, virtual cards, and budgets — all in one unified platform purpose-
    built for ANZ finance teams.
